Interesting. I do believe WWI orders specified colors had to be separated by a black line with a specific width. This might be post war art. possibly used to blend in with tigers.

WWI German camo paint = absolutely Not my field, but it's kind of neat looking, in any case!

Why so? Can you see on this tiny picture that the paint is applied after 1918? I know that it's a strange type of camo, but I've seen even stranger camo schemes that are nevertheless absolutely original... For now, with the provided picture, I think this one stands a chance... of course better pics are nessecary...
Just for comparison some pics of different non regulation and strange types of camo... so I guess qua shape a lot of different things are possible...

PS Sorry for the quality of some of the (old) pictures...

    Virtical stripes

    No black deviding lines

    Circular spots with deviding lines

Two tone camo with rounded shapes

Vertical stripes with black deviding lines but with oil paint finish

    Two tone splotches

    "Artistic"

    Very large camofields

    Adler.

You are correct there is many different type of camo out there.
All the camo you have posted are 100%correct.(great collection)
But this one the rust is comming from under the paint and making the paint fleak big red flag to me for Post war paint.
    Better pictures are needed.
