Suspicious Silver Wound Badge

Article about: This badge doesn't look quite right. The lug on the helmet seems too far up and at a different angle relative to the helmet pin. There are no makers mark on the reverse. Is this a fake?

    Hello Pablo
This type with its sloppy looking hinge & pin appears on ebay regularly, & can be listed as reproduction or authentic depending on who is selling it.
Personally I would give this one a miss.

    Regards
    Brett

I agree with Brett......The pebbling between the sword hilts also gives it away....Fake.
    Prost ! Steve.

    Does it appear too round?

Appears too fake. This type of pin is a dead give-away.

Maybe it's just me or the angle of the camera, but the overall shape
looks distorted - 'out-of-round'. Still bogus though.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
