I concur with bichon (Didier), it is genuine. Chip M stated earlier on another site you posted this on that it was original as well. There's a nice thread about them that I had started on that site, if you were able to do a search for it and view the thread. It has several examples of known originals for you to compare this one to. I'll post the link to the thread on your other posting to make it easy. There is also a nice Imperial Buckle sub-section on this fine forum, which is located within the 3rd Reich Buckles section.
