    Hi Guys,
You might recall some time ago I posted a toy 1870 Ek2---

    http://warrelics.eu/forum/imperial-g...870-ek2-18304/

Here is a bit of a follow up on these.

They were made by the Lowell Toy Mfg corp of New York.
They could be pruchased from retailers or came as premiums
in food items, ect. ( I believe "Grape Nuts" cereal offered them)

There was an entire set of the worlds famous medals to be collected.

Here is my new arrival. A 1870 Ek2, still on it's card, unopened
and still with the original clear wrapper. (the plastic wrapper does not show
    to well in the pictures)

There is even a coupon that when redeemed with 3 others
and $1.00, you would recieve a "Beautiful, Gold stamped
    Album" to display them in.

Greg, super items !...I missed one on E-Bay a couple of weeks ago ! ...it went for around $6 ! I will have to keep my eyes peeled, thanks for the follow up.These cereal/food premiums are collectable in their own right.
