I can answer part of your question, but the handwriting is out of my league. He was, apparently, in the 2nd Reserve Infantry Regiment, 9th Company but saw war service in the 29th medical company, probably as a stretcher-bearer. The typed entry, Mitgemachte Gefechte lists the battles and fighting that he was in and the dates he was there, beginning on 17 February 1917.
17 Feb. 1917-1 Apr. 1917 in the trenches at Artois

28 Aug. 1917-28 Feb. 1918 in the trenches at Artois and march to the major battle in France

I hope this helps. Dwight
WWIIBUFF: Could you post the pages that have the man's personal information; name, DOB, etc.? That would be a big help. Right now it appears that he was a reservist who was called up in 1915 and was moved among various infantry regiments during his initial service on active duty, and then settled into a medical unit for the duration. He is definitely a Bavarian. Dwight
