Trench knife?

Help need to identify this knife,WW1 or WW2 ?

Looks OK , but they are Faking these a lot . Photos in daylight , both sides of the snap also .

To my eye, it is a genuine WWI knife & scabbard with a replaced (and poorly at that) wooden handle. I say poorly, because it appears the guard is loose due to a less then exact fit. The replaced handle could have been done in WWI or WWII (I'd err on the WWII side).
