    Hi guys,
Haven't completely given up on these beauties yet ;-)
Would you be kind enough to take a look on these 2, and give me your opinion upon authenticity ?
Personally I believe in the second one with the broken catch :-) but staring my eyeballs out on details, still not sure . There are no makers marks !
And if good, how much would a broken catch lower the price, just an idea !?
Your input is much appriciated :-)

    Mfg
    Marc

    Looking good Marc.
I have always stayed away from these. There are some
really good fakes and I can't tell them apart.

Thanks Greg, I'm quite skeptic myself . I have been looking at quite a few now and consulting a friend of mine who has some, and these seems to match up :-) So crossing my fingers ;-) that's all I can do now . Mfg Marc

I agree with Greg, very difficult to tell apart ! However that said, I think this example (the one you settled on) stands a good chance of being one of the many inter war years produced jeweller copies, they were still being advertised in St u L catalogue of 1939 !
I only have one, an Assmann made post war 1950's-60's veterans replacement item......
    Thanks for showing
