Hi Troy looks a good Prussia veterans association decoration for loyal membership for 25 years with a wrong ribbon to me.

It looks like a veterans association medal from Prussia for 25 years of loyal membership, with a ribbon for the Iron Cross 2nd Class attached to it.
See PRUSSIA. Veterans’ Association Decoration ‘For Loyal Membership’ for 25 years (PREUSSEN. Kriegerverein Auszeichnung ‘Für Treue Mitgliedschaft’ für 25 Jahre) for a Prussian example.

Thanks Eric and Roger, is the correct ribbon the same as the 1914 EKII? If I replaced the '39 EKII ribbon with some '14 EKII, would it then pass muster?

The 1914 EKII ribbon would appear to be correct.

Yes, I should have posted "now with correct repro ribbon!" It will have to do until I can source some real ribbon

Adrian, I just checked the sale for the ribbon, they claim it's original?

FOR SALE ORIGINAL WW1 GERMAN RIBBON FOR EK II NICE AND IN GOOD CONDITION, COMPLETE, SHOWS AGE, UV TESTED- OK, LENGTH 16 cm OR 6,3" WIDTH 30mm

How can I tell one way or the other? Although, it doesn't seem to show any age to me, it looks new.
