There a lot of re-issued by Finnish and Afgan armies. Usually original single decal one for the price approx 3500-7000 USD in the market

holy crap, thats a lot! thank you
Please be careful of the fakes.
What would be the price for a relic of one of those?
I am trying to buy one of those helmet ,it is a relic ,who produce this helmet, what marking to look for.
Only ever made by "ET".
Cheers, Ade.
I love them!! Had one in my primary collection; looking forward to get one back.
I missed one recently at an auction; it went for more then the 500 euro I wanted to spend on it; for a relic of course!
Gentlemen, Ade is quite right, and only in size 64, the Eissenhutten plant at Thale was the only firm to recieve the contract, less than 10.000 made. Lots of fakes !...people take a Model 1918, cut and flare around the ear position, but they never look right and more often than not they use the wrong maker marked helmet !....So a genuine one MUST be mm ''ET64''.
Hello All,
!Achtung!!!...
I'm on vacation in a small resort town. I found a M18 "cut-out" selling for $150US. It has a M1931 liner and appears to be a reissue. It also appears to be repainted, possibly field repainted. The inside of the lid has some rough milling marks, similar to "brush strokes" in the metal. On the wearer left-side, inside the lid I can barely make out a "64" but the repaint is pretty heavy and I can't see an "ET".
I've put the lid on "hold" and told to store owner keep it behind the counter for a few days while I research.
Should I buy this lid?
(I'm 'giddy as a school-girl'...)
