Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz Cut Out - unmarked
Mark: Unmarked
Maker: ?
Location: ?
Verwundetenabzeichen: Schwarz
Type: Cut Out
A bit worn, with a lack of coating on the inside. Overall quality is similar to the badges avaiable on the forum, Id say, its not a top notch, but still fine. Type of the pin is similar as well, it has pointy bottom.

I saw your collection of Blac, Silver, Gold, they look like they were made today, or yesterday. I always wonder, what these badges went through, to come out after all these years in mint condition. Someone must have taken a great care of them, or they were hidden, forgotten, and found after the years, as lots of other items do.

Most often bought & worn after the war by veterans for special occasions, which explains their good condition....
It took me a long time to find all 3 in such condition and at an affordable price...

With many threads I see the word "schwartz" used (look around).
Correct would be "schwarz"!! The first simply is the pronouncing of the word......

My personal Pet-Peeve is the oft-encountered "Liebstandarte" instead of Leibstandarte, lol...

You are right, Glenn. There are so many and not only at this forum:
Riechszeugmeisterie/Reichszeugmeisterie, Kreigsmarine. Riechsarbeitsdienst or whatever.
Maybe we should make a list of "forbidden" words!

There maybe indeed many, but its a first one for me. A simple typo, also I noticed that after you edit the topic name, it doesnt get updated on the forum, but once you enter edited topic, you will be able to see the difference.
