Verwundetenabzeichen in Silver L/56.

I have this wound badge listed in my files as "1918 Silver wound badge".
This example was purchased from Trevor, on WAF, (streptile) and was advertised as such. I can't remember exactly what the explanation was. It is marked on the inside top of the helmet with an L/56 for Funcke & Brünninghaus. It is difficult to see but it is there.
