i see no problems here. legit badge.
Looks like a good one. Price ok for a black wound badge
Jason
I think the price is just a bit high...I see them for sale at around $35 usually...perhaps you can negotiate.
Badge itself is Ok but price is crazy... at least for Europe
Agreed-good badge but overpriced. Not the best condition(it has rust) for such a premium cost.

i did not comment on price before, but as other members have, i will comment also that this badge in this condition is indeed overpriced. i figure by 20% discount to the price here or thereabouts, you might find one even in slightly better condition.
Thanks all,
The seller has come down to 45.00 but given the comments here, I think given the condition I would be better off to just pass.
I will wait for a better one with no rust or loss of enamel.
Thanks for helping me come to a correct decision.
Gentlemen..as we approach the centenary of the start of the Great War prices are rising......$55 equates to around £30, which is in my view a reasonable price these days for such an original award (which this most definately is) ....the one shown has a great patina, and IMO worth having in a collection, over a mint one any day.
Prost ! Steve.
I agree with Steve, I think its been over looked that this BWB is WW1 period and not TR and the price is therefore pretty reasonable
