    Yes, most of my family still lives in Hohentengen and Mengen.

    Thanks for the link Ralph.It´s a nice history of your father.I like also his Awards.Was he also a holder of the Nahkampfspange?I like the
    F&BL Nahkampfspange very much!

    Due to the fate of the 16th Panzer Div., he was not awarded the Nahkampfspange although he told me that he earned it. He also was not awarded the Ostfront, but said if they were still awarding it, he would have received one.
