I agree 1000% with that. That grayish silver finish I have seen a many of times after bead blasting steel.

The fit of the catch looks hinky to me. They have made such good copies for years it is hard to tell without close scrutiny by a well-trained eye. Looks like it had a bath in Evaporust to me, but the question is whether that was done to remove new rust traces, to pass it off as original.

this is definitely original, I am absolutely sure.Originality was confirmed by experts like Ralph, Phil and MAP
but still codcition this knife is bad..
