WW1 Canteen?

Article about: Hi all. Got this from a bootsale. The guy said it may have had something to do with his grandfather who was in ww1. It looks to me like a German canteen but has no markings on. Also the shap

    Default WW1 Canteen?

    Hi all. Got this from a bootsale. The guy said it may have had something to do with his grandfather who was in ww1. It looks to me like a German canteen but has no markings on. Also the shape of the neck and the cap are unfamiliar to me. Anyone have any suggestions? Cheers.
