Default WW1 German Army Officer's Sword Maker Identification

    Hi,

I have this German sword from WW1 (I believe). I have seen identical looking swords that claim to be officer's swords. I am trying to identify the maker mark, but it is difficult with the guard in the way. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Phil
