    Its a nice helmet. I can see what John means about the possible removal of a black overpaint, but there is no visible trace of an overpaint at - and around the impact point. I would be happy to have that in my own collection.

    Cheers guys..
    I can see what member said about black specks over shell
    If it wasn't for patina around bullet hit
    I'd be more concerned..

    Couldn't see the pics that well when I uploaded as it was from my not so crisp tablet. But agree. Looks like there was some black paint or something on it. That said, if the price is right, I wouldn't mind owning it. Just depends on how textbook you want.
