WW1 german gasmask container?

Can anybody tell me more about this gasmask container? I cannot find any markings..

That looks like a variation of the Driver's mask can, The driver's mask was not actually a mask, but a mouthpiece with nose clips that attached to a filter, and a pair of googles, so a driver would not be as badly impaired by the mask.

I think it is for a postwar mask.

Think it maybe Czech / Hungarian gas-mask canister. Fairly certain - not WW1 German gas-mask container
