WW1 German Helmet for Review
Hello Folks -
I want to add an Imperial German helmet to my collection and I have been offered this one (photos attached) at a reasonable price.
From studying a few references and online sources, I don't see any major issues - but, I still have a lot to learn and I am looking for opinions/concerns of others of you that have more experience than me. Any thoughts, concerns or endorsements? I thank you in advance! Dan
Looks like a nice S.i. M17 helmet to me. But the photos are pretty low resolution. Not sure if the pads have been repaired. Maybe someone with more WW1 helmet experience can opine.

I think maybe the liner pad tie string is not original but it appears all else is fine as stated. Looks to have retained a good deal of original paint. What is the asking price? NH
