    Hello Gentlemen,

I'd like to get your opinions on this EKI. It's on ebay and there's something about it that I'm puzzled about. All are marked 800 except one piece that's marked, (IMO) 500. Would this be correct? As there are several of you who have the knowledge, more than I do, to tell if this is a put together or a complete original. I'd just like to be sure before I bid. Thanks in advance.

    Anton

Looks ok to me, even if perhaps the silver content of each part
    does not match exactly.

It could be the stamp is not very deep, or it was punched in
on an angle and it actually reads '800'..........
    Regards,

    Steve.

Sorry I'm late on this one----

    That's a good original cross
It's very common to find Meybauer crosses with "500" marked backplates.
    No worries.
