WW1 German Sandbag Piece with note from Canadian Soldier

Article about: I found this in the pocket of the WW1 Canadian 2CMR Tunic I posted last week. A small bit of cloth in an envelope with writing on it, I can make most of it out..but some words are faded and

    Eric,
    It's quite possible that it is a field-made example from a British sack. I'm not even sure which European museum it is in, as a friend took the photo.

    Very neat- a message from the past LOL

    It just reads:

    "...unravel one of these
    shards and you will see that
    it is made of paper.
