WW1 German Uniform

Article about: Can anybody tell me something about this uniform? I tried searching the internet but I haven't found any uniform looking like this. For a start, it has two rows of buttons and all the unifor

    This collection wouldn't be out of place during the war the 07 regulations were by no means universal thank you for showing I particularly like the shoes, wonderful.
    Re links, these days I use less that have the 1919 compiled 250 Divisions in references and more from better sources ie: basically from this link on the 171 you can go anywhere you desire.

    Hi

    Just a couple of observations on the cap.......

    The cap has cockades for other ranks and not an officer although the cap is the correct pattern for the uniform. The red piping and black cap band is correct for field artillery but an officers cap would have had a black velvet cap band not a cotton one.

    Hope this helps you gain some more understanding of the nice assemble you have.
