Default WW1 Imperial pennant - Opinions sought

I received this small pennant with some medals I recently acquired. I am not sure what to make of it. The fabric appears synthetic with the design printed. I do not believe it is WW1 era, but perhaps it is a veteran pennant produced some years later, or something manufactured much later.

    Any opinions appreciated.

Not period: note the use of an machine overlock stitch over the edge.

    Cheers, Ade.

On top of that, most period flags and pennants usually go yellow or musty brown with age.
Rarely would you find a 100 year old piece of material in brilliant white still.
