Hello all you chaps,a rare excursion for me over to the WW1 side of the fence!! Could any of you experts over here tell me firstly if this wound badge is a genuine one, and secondly if it is do you have any ideas as to a possible maker? Sorry the pictures are not great but it's nightime here now,so these inside shots were the best I could do!! Thanks in advance, Leon.

Leon, welcome to the Imperial German section ! that's a nice original black wound badge, typical hinge/pin assembly, they are not usually mm, but check, take a good look very carefully on the back for small initials or maker logo, especially around the catch area.......
    Prost ! Steve.

Thanks steve,i had a good look through my x10 loop, but alas there is no maker mark.Still, thanks for confirming that it is a good one,i now know that it will be safe on my Nazi era SA brown shirt that has two loops that fit it's dimensions perfectly!! Thanks again, Leon.

Looks good to me as well. I have only seen a few
of these with maker marks or initials - most are
    not marked at all.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
