    Welcome Nev,

Chopperman (Greg) and a few others are your go to guys on these awards. They should be around shortly.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

A good one IMO. Maker rather unknown, this core, called "slanted W", was used by different manufacturers. Also vaulted and screwback versions with thi core exist.

    best regards

PS. Check, if there is a mark on the underside of the needle, near the hinge. I have discovered similair one with "B" marking in this place.

    regards

Tomasz is absolute correct with his opinion.
It's a nice looking, original cross. It would look good in any collection.

Thank you Tomasz and Chopperman for your advice. I went ahead and purchased it! First 1914 EK1 of my collection! The 1914 Imperial German iron crosses have a lot of “personality”

    Speak soon

    Best, NevKaiser
