russian adrian helmet

hi guys, first of all: My name is Nathan and I'm new to this forum. I have been collecting small arms since some time and I mainly focus on weapons from russia (soviet and imperial) and finland with a main focus on the mosin nagant rifle. I recently have been offered this russian imperial helmet but since I'm not an expert in these I would love your guys opinion. Is this a real one? It looks to be repainted? How much would a helmet like this be worth?

They do fetch high prices, but highly faked too.
Don't like very much what I see.
It looks like badly artificially aged. A "patina" without being one...
One was recently sold at Hermann Historica.
