    Hi

My mother in law has been down and handed me a letter which was sent to her in 1973 from The British Library, Great Russell Street London

    Dear Madam

Thank you for your letter on 26th May. We have been unable to identify conclusively your military buckle. However, we are of the opinion that it is appears to be similar to a piece of insignia issued in 1910 to mark the hundredth anniversary of the Russian Ministry of War.

She also said her grandfather fought alongside the White Russians!

    Hope this helps

What could you say about this my buckle? I think it's not common. 7 x 5 cm, signed СЛАВА МОСКВА on the hook.
    Cheers, Jarek
