    Russian calvary sword scabbard/mosin nagant bayonet - these are highly faked and quite honestly I don't know all that much as far as authenticating them. Perhaps posting it in the USSR 1917-1991 forum would get you some answers.

    I did not think it was from the USSR, due to the letters being in English.........but I really have no idea.

    What is supposed to be an Imperial era Russian Dragoon Shashka pattern of 1881. Is in fact really: a poor Chinese fake (copy) that has been seen for sale in quantity for not very much money. PS: Besides being the wrong model, the bayonet is also a fake. FP

    This alone tells you how cheap it must be to fake them, there are MILLIONS of real soviet bayonets out there for nothing!

    FAKE! No one Russian sword branded on English..or some not kirilic languege!
