Infanterie-Sturm-Abzeichen Help Appreciated!
I've come across this ISA and would appreciate your input & opinions...I believe it's a good Silber, but help with the Maker would be appreciated...Apologies for the odd angle of the pics, they are from the seller...As always, Thank You for your assistance!

Pictures aren't the best, but I'd say a SHuCo design 5 vein. Can't be sure though. Stewy
I would say this Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen is the so-called "Broken Stem" example.
Some collectors believe this example is produced by the maker Alois Rettenmaier, LDO number L/59.
A recent discovery of period Rettenmaier Price Lists that specify ISA's in the listings, a Broken Stem ISA in a cellophane LDO packet along with other combat badges with the same characteristics give credence to this attribution.
Although this connection is a strong possibility, I am of the opinion the Rettenmaier assignment is still inconclusive.
Here is one I have to compare.
Best regards, fischer
