Looks good to me, I like the stamped catch

If anything it's a zinc B.H Mayer. Better pic of the obverse would help. Reverse looks quite soft,but these were late war produced. Stewy S

Here's some more photos, sorry about the quality. The badge is made from brass coloured metal and silver plated.

In my opinion this one is a fake. The chest feathers to start with are not correct for a BH Mayer.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions mate. I thought it was just me being paranoid. But Mayer fakes are some of the better copies out there. Stewy S

Thanks, when I couldn't see it in Sascha Weber's book I was a bit concerned. ah well, back to the drawing board.
