    Hi Dave,

    there are several Mayer fakes and in my opinion this one is the most common one.
    If you compare it to an original Mayer IAB you can see lots of small differences.
    For me the most visible difference are the two little holes in the belt. On original IABs they are not that round.
    Others recognize this fake, because there is a small plate under the hinge with rounded corners. Original ones do not have it like this.
    (I've marked it on the pictures)
    Please have a look on the pictures of my original one for comparision.
