    IMO a fine late war Zimmerman. I love the eye detail on the Zimmerman adlers, they always look heavily hungover!

    It looks to be a good crimped in hardware Zimmermann...the catch looks large to me. Clear side shots would show if it has been replaced or not.

    thank you all, l was fairly sure of it, but today with so much fake going around, i,d like opinions from those who know a bit more then l..i love the detail on this as well..the catch is crimped right in, does not look replaced, but is bent...otherwise i like it very much, and most appreciate the comments...JERRY
    PS have a nice JFS as well, with a period catch replacement, looks to have bronze version, i am trying to get a good pic of it, l cant tell, cheers.
