Here it is, im not totally convinced it is original due to it looks to have been poorly casted at the back however the front doesn't look too bad????
Thank you all for your time!

Understanding/recognising awards, whether it's in general or a particular award in detail is not easy. The more you get into the hobby the more you learn. Whatever award(s) you get into,i suggest you search the forum for that award & never be afraid to ask questions. Most folks are here to help answering questions, not ridicule. I along with many are happy to help,if i can. Stewy
Hello Glen
I also agree with the others...This one is a cast fake based on the F&BL or Funcke & Bruninghaus variant. It looks like it has been painted a golden bronze color. The hinge / catch reminds me of the 57er type postwar badges used.
Here is one of my F&BL examples to compare.
Best Regards, fischer
PS. Alex...what Stewy suggests is sound advice, we all had to start somewhere. When Stewy and I got serious about the hobby we asked lots of questions on the forums. We shared information and posted badges were were unsure of. It takes some time but IMO it's worth the effort.
