    Hello,

this is my very first ISA. Because I don’t normally collect WW2 awards I will be very grateful for any thoughts, especially regarding the authenticity. Many topics here on the forum suggest how tricky this particular maker GWL can be, so I really appreciate your opinions. If it is a real one (so I hope), would it possible to say from which phase of the war it can approximately be? It is massive, slightly convex zinc.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Pavel

Thank you very much for your replies! It is a relief to hear that the badge is OK. GWL is my most favorite maker so I was very happy to find one, albeit in a really worn condition.

Once again, thank you for your kind help.

    Hello Pavel

I can only agree with what has been said; an original GWL marked solid ISA.

Condition wise, this one is in worn condition and collector value is at a minimum because of this.

    Best Regards, fischer
