just a quick question which badge was the higher award the bronze or the silver version because i thought bronze would be lower than silver but that doesn't reflect the prices so can someone help please

There is no higher or lower grade Tom. The silver was instituted in December 1939 and was awarded to foot infantry who saw the correct amount of combat to earn the badge and the Bronze version was instituted in June 1940 and was awarded to motorized troops. Therefore they are equal in terms of grade, the distinction lies within the type of personnel they were awarded to.
