I'm not liking this one very much Krisse.
The details are weak and the reverse is rough.
Compare the eagle's legs on yours to this one in the data base, (take note of the front talon on the eagle's right claw). The hardware may be a little different.
Also notice the maker's mark.
Freidrich Linden, Ludenschied, Maker Marked, "L" Shaped, Crimped in Hinge and Catch.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
And as Ralph will soon point out, please use German terminology in the title.
" When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble, give a whistle "
Fake for me. The Bayonet lacks the detail of originals. You could help by posting better pics, straight on with decent shots of important things like the eagle. Not that it would help much in this case, sorry. Stewy
I agree with the group, this one is a known fake patterned after the FLL crimped in hardware ISA.
The reverse has tell-tale attributes that are not seen on the original but replicates on these fakes.
Best regards, fischer
