A very nice deformed leaf indeed, nice find. Congrats Stewy
Nice one, attributed to Deumer.
A nice example of a Deumer oval crimp deformed leaf Infanterie Sturmabzeichen!
Here is my example.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
A very nice so-called Deformed Leaf/W. Deumer example with the oval crimp attachment method.
As mentioned, these Deformed Leaf examples have been attributed to the maker Wilhelm Deumer after "Vertical Crimp" Deformed Leaf Infanterie Sturmabzeichen's were found with Deumer addressed packets.
The addressed packets do provide a strong possibility that Deumer was the maker, but it is not concrete evidence.
And, this is the reason why I feel more proof is needed before we can conclude Deumer is the actual producer of these examples.
A very nice addition, congrats...
