    IMO it's a Staegemeir made GWL copy.

    The lack of detail and the casting seam around the edge would indicate to me it is a cast fake.
    You can compare to an original here.

    I agree with Ralph. GWL, in my opinion, made some of the finest badges of all the makers. The detailing on this one is not good at all. I'd say, like Ralph, that it's a cast fake.
