    Hello Jonas

A very nice, well preserved marked L/14 ISA from the manufacturer, Friedrich Orth with a Glanzverzinkt finish.
This one was produced for retail sale in the LDO shops.

As to the time frame when this one was produced, I would speculate it's a mid (42-43) war example.

    Best Regards, fischer

Hi Jonas, as the others have said, a nice original Orth in great condition. Hard one to find with the L/14 mark.

I’m not sure what you are talking about now? When you talk about “silver”, do you mean silver as in real silver?

No ofcourse not, it would be way to expensive to real use silver.
Its a mixture its called 'New Silver' or 'Alpaca'. is a copper alloy with nickel and often zinc. The usual formulation is 60% copper, 20% nickel and 20% zinc.Infanterie Sturmabzeichen Silber - "L/14" (Friedrich Orth)Infanterie Sturmabzeichen Silber - "L/14" (Friedrich Orth) This is a F.O.
