Article about: Hi, Here is another ISA which should be attributed to Steinhauer & Lück. To me this is a genuine piece after studying other posts, but want to be 100% sure. Thanks /Jonas

    Looks original, but the finish concerns me as it looks repainted.

    I believe the catch has been replaced and it has been refinished.

    It's certainly been beaten down for a better closure of the pin, but yes, the flat wire catch does appear it may be a replacement.

    Notice the shape of the ends of the catch plate. One is flat with rounded corners and the other is rounded overall. Also, how much of the catch is soldered to the plate.

    It does have "brush on" pattern in the back, not very visible [or at all] in the front.

    My opinion is the badge is a good one but the finish looks to be paint and the catch has been replaced.
