    Hello friends,

    I have this IAB.
I think this is a BH Mayer with the flat catch (not the round wire catch as posted in the data base).

But I think this is a zinc one. Did they also exist in Zinc? I only find bronzen (Buntmetallblech) ones in books...

You are learning young Padawan. It is a hollow zinc version of the Schickle design taken on by Mayer after the former company was closed down in June 1941.

    Great! Thanks!
Now I can add it to the Data Base.

    Greets!

I agree with Ned, this one is referred to as the BH Mayer/ O.Schickle design ISA in zinc.

The obverse design matches the details of the tombak examples.
