Hello!
I would like to show You my silver Infanterie Sturmabzeichen , marked L/51.
Is it a rare manufacturer?? And how big is it's value?
Thanks a lot

And the award document.
Hello
The ISA is manufactured by the E. Ferd Wiedmann firm and marked with his Leistungs Gemeinschaft der Deutscher Ordenshersteller or LDO number L/51 for sale in retail outlets.
The ISA appears to be a ground dug or poorly stored example which is very detrimental to the value.
It appears to have a brassy colored undercoating applied over the zinc base followed by a frosted silver/white finish coating.
It is this brassy undercoat that has preserved this badge from further decay.
The Award Doc is the most commonly encountered style but looks to be in very nice shape.
As the ISA is an LDO marked example meant for private purchase, it would not have been awarded with the certificate.
Best regards, fischer
Good evening, Fischer! Thank You for Your answer.
ISA is a ground dug, You are right
That means, that the owner had lost his originaly awarded ISA and had bought a new one for himself?
