Last but not least, a repaired Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in silver.

This was like this when I bought it many years ago.

This one is attributed to the maker Rudolf Karneth. This one looks to be a silver grade in worn condition.
As you state, the small block hinge has been reattached at some point as you state.
