Infantrie Sturmabzeichen "Hermann Aurich, Dresden"

Article about: In this piece, I am very curious about the opinions of experts. You see here silver or bronze? Bronze is very very rare find indeed! I'm curious what you think and hope you like it. Best reg

    Hi Mike

I agree Stewy, Ned, etc. that this ISA is a worn silver grade produced by Hermann Aurich, Dresden.

I'm of the opinion this one had a frosted white - electroplate type finish that has worn away with time.
The hardware set up is unique to this maker and it has one of the nicest maker markings with the ornately designed "HA" initials.

As stated, the Aurich examples are one of the smallest variants and they are popular with collectors.

    Best regards, fischer
