    yep needle has been replaced as it wiggles a lot
    and has a different color and material

    none the less a fine example for not to much cash

    Hello

    Nice late "FLL" with crimped in hardware. In regards to the pin, originals were made out of buntmetal which should be the same material as the hinge and catch. Did you replace it? Being loose would not prevent it from being original.

    Here is my L/61 example to compare.

    It's hard to say whether it's a replacement or not from the pics. In the first series you posted I thought it looked o.k. to me.

    The L/61 comes from a fellow collector in Belgium.
