its a Rudolf souval and yes it will affect the value.
as for the number I don't know.
i it a IAB or infantry assualt badge if you didnt know and affect the value a little is an understatement you are looking at 50 dollars for this if you are very lucky !!

As stated, you would be fortunate to get 50 dollars. This one has zero collector value IMO.
First, the small mm R. Souval badge is a common variant. The hinge/pin set up is broken off and it looks like someone tried to sand down the area in preparation for reattachment.
The catch system has been replaced with an oval plate and flat catch. You can still see part of the solder from the original round plate on the right side.
The 262 stamp has been added for reasons unknown. It is not original to the badge.
Here is an example I have in worn condition that has the original hardware still attached.
