Panzerkampfabzeichen help needed

i have been offered this panzer tank badge for £70 i know nothing on badges i have been told it has a makers mark saying gwg

can anyone tell me if this is real or copy and anything about the makers mark and if its a good price

Without seeing pictures of the back no one can tell if this is authentic

I could be wrong, but do not like what I see - even with the blurry
photo. Perhaps some better front and back shots of it
can be taken.........?

thats the only pic he sent so far i will try and get a pic of the back if it is genuine is £70 a good buy ?

I would take Steve's word on this one. The detail just desn't seem to be there, even with the blurry picture. Of course better pictures will need to be shown to make a final decision. 70 is a good price but not if it is a fake, which it looks to be.

These photos are extremely poor and out of focus ! I believe this is 'supposed to be'
a bronze badge, but I do not like the toning or the material it seems to be made
from - which looks like white metal with an artificial bronze finish - similar, if not
the same as those small antique themed pencil sharpeners.

Perhaps it is the lighting, but I for one, cannot tell from these
TERRIBLE photos.........

i know they are bad its from the guy who is selling it i think i will avoid it as you can tell i am very new to collecting third reich medals and badges and so far this forum has been great for advice

Sometime bad photos are a hint that a seller is hiding something.. I would demand better photos before going any further.

I believe original tank badges sell for around $250 to $350 or more,
so the price hints at it being a fake as well.........
