    Hi Guys

Here is a new one for my collection; a purported Rudolf Karneth example.

This one is a (5) vein variation and is one of the unpebbled leaf examples.
There are three different "unpebbled" variants with the difference being the leaf vein patterns.

This one has a "Glanzverzinkt" or chrome-like finish.
Having searched for a silver grade (5) vein the past couple of years, I was happy to get this one.

    Hello fischer,
What a lovely example of this award!
Is the leaf with the 5 veins (if I remember correctly), the 4R leaf?
Congrats on adding this one to your collection.

    Hi Ralph

    Thanks for the comment.

The identifing leaf is the same one used on the ShuCo variants.
In fact, the 1R leaf vein pattern is often used to determine differences.

I find it curious how the 1R leaf position is so often used as the recognition point when comparing "like" examples.

    Best regards, fischer

    Hi fischer,
Sorry, I seem to have a hard time remembering whether you count from the bottom up, or the top down.
