Re: Are these medals real or fake aged repro's?
The Heer cap eagle appears to be an unfinished original.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: Are these medals real or fake aged repro's?
The infantry assault badge is a rough cast copy of a Rudolph Souval badge .... like someone was experimenting with lead in art class..

Looks like a zinc badge which has been varnished to me?

Re: Are these medals real or fake aged repro's?
Two nice original ground dug items IMO. It does look like the IAB has been varnished.
Particularly like the unfinished cap badge, not seen one before.

I think Adrian is correct. The badge looks like a corroded zinc ground dug item that has been coated to make it presentable.

Re: Are these medals real or fake aged repro's?
Mpw, not so much presentable IMO as trying to protect it. I have come across many items from older collections that have been varnished in an attempt to keep the zinc pest at bay..

I would also agree the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen is an original ground dug piece which has had a coat of 'preserving' varnish.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to copy the technique though.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
