    Here you go guys, can I gather your thoughts and opinions on these two IABs please? I believe them both to be original and to my untrained eye possibly from the same maker? Unfortunately both are missing their catches but I didn't pay too much for either so I don't mind that much.

    Hello Adrian

    You are correct...These are both from an unknown maker referred to by collectors as the "Broken Stem" variant.

    There are three so called "types" of these with minor variation between them.

    Here are a couple of mine. As you can see they came with a solid back and the hollow type reverse.

    Hello Adrian

    It's not really a "Broken Stem" as it appears to be more of a die flaw. If you start at the berries and go up to the third leaf on the left hand side, the bottom Vein from the stem looks to be cut short. It does not extend out as far as the others.

    I have circled it in red.
